Rochelle (Ro) Fainstein is a self-taught, intuitive artist originally from NYC. She currently resides and works in Wimberley, Texas. Her art is often inspired by experiences through travel.
An avid artist as a child, Ro re-engaged in painting as an adult as a form of therapy to work through trauma. Today her works are a celebration of quirky, extreme, and joyful memories; as well as represent more trying times with themes from classic horror and occult films. Her work is always expressed in the abstract, as it appears and feels in her mind and body. The texture, depth, and vibrance of her work draws the eye and invokes energetic response.
