Description
The Sol Sock was inspired by American conceptual artist and painter, Sol Lewitt (1928-2007). He worked in a variety of mediums including paintings, drawings and lithograph prints. We drew inspiration from his “wall drawings” series which contain large stripes in bold and primary colors – particularly the installation at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.
